MOBERG FIREPLACES, INC., (MFI) is an internationally recognized designer and fabricator of custom fireplaces.  As a consultant to architects, and public and private clients for 37 years, MFI has mastered both traditional and contemporary designs.  The firm's special expertise in classical installations led to a commission to restore 60 historic fireplaces in the Palace of Versailles, France.  Founder Walter Moberg holds degrees in Architecture from Princeton University and has patented several of his unique fireplaces.  He is the author for fireplaces in Architectural Graphic Standards.

Join the "ICAA-NW AT WORK: A Tradition of Portland Craft" in a Three-Part Series of tours as local artisans open their studios to share the rich tradition of Portland craftsmanship.

Each studio tour will be followed by an informal reception with out craftsman hosts.  Registration to be announced.  Admission is free.
